The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. local time on July 19, 2025, outside the Eclipse Lounge, located near Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street. Witnesses reported panic as a silver sedan accelerated toward a group of patrons gathered on the sidewalk, striking dozens before coming to a stop.
Suspect Found Shot at Scene
Authorities said the driver, an unidentified adult male, was found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspect was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and remains in critical condition. No arrests have been made as of Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Margaret Stewart confirmed 30 individuals sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical, with five listed in serious condition. Victims were transported to area hospitals, including Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles.
